What will happen in the year 2019? How can you know?

Most of us would like to know all the major things that will happen to us during the course of this year. This will give us time to prepare.

If you know that you will die in the year 2019 I am sure that you will prepare your Will and spend quality time with your friends and family.

What if you know that the Lord will return in 2019? Would you continue to live the life that you are currently living or would you make a change for the better?

These are some of the things we need to seriously ponder on at the beginning of the year.

My personal predictions from God

The Lord rest on my heart that I should make this new year be one of prayer. What are some of the things that I need to pray about?

The Lord wants me to specifically pray for divine protection over my life, family friends and the nation on a whole. He wants me to pray for divine wisdom, understanding, and discernment.

Since the Lord is emphasizing prayer it means that in this New Year we will be facing many challenges.

Thus, it is vital that we are alert and always ready for battle by wearing our armor at all times.

We also need a discerning spirit to redeem the time. Nothing will take us by surprise when we live daily in the sanctuary of God because this is the place where the Lord will reveal to us His plans for our lives.

This is also the place where the Lord will reveal to us the impending plots of the enemies. Consequently, through prayer, we will be able to summon the angelic forces to fight our battle in the spiritual realm.

James 5:16 states that we need to confess our trespasses one to another and pray for one another that we may be healed. The word trespass does not mean sin alone but faults, mistakes or offense.

Therefore, we need to be constantly encouraging each other so that we can be strengthened and healed.

During this New Year, I want you to challenge yourself by proving how much you love the Lord. 

To prove your love you will need to step away from fleshly things and allow the Holy Spirit to help you to give the best of your time to God.

It is only then that you will be able to enter into the presence of God with thanksgiving where He will show you His ways. In the presence of God, you will have liberty and be filled with the fullness of God.

Dwelling in the presence of God will develop your faith. The Word of the Lord states that the just shall live by faith.

We are living in the latter days where it is only by our faith in God and His everlasting love and mercy that we will be able to survive whatever challenges lie ahead.

Therefore, I will leave the predictions of 2019 to God who, if He desires, will reveal them to His prophets and servants.

However, I know for certain that in 2019 God will continue to reign above the nations and his compassion never fails. His mercy is renewed every morning.

In 2019, the Lord will uphold you with His righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10). If you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour, He will keep you satisfied and write your name in the Book of life.
