Morning Prayer
Teach me and guide me and show me thy way;
Help me in my walk as I get through this day.
As I walk through this day, I can trust you to know;
That to me you’ll reveal the way I should go.
Your Word is so true and is ever so deep;
It’s the Lamp on my path that sheds the Light on my feet.
Show me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy Truth, and teach me; for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.Β Psalm 25:4-5
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Psalm 32:8Β

My name is Susan, and Beverley from Becoming the Oil and the Wine, https://becomingtheoilandwine.com/author/efarim7praise/ had graciously invited me to write my Christian poetry on her blogsite back in 2017. It gave me great delight and pleasure that she published them on her wonderful blog; I was working part time so I couldn't devote too much time and focus on it. Eventually after the passing of time, I felt the Holy Spirit pressing in to me to retire fulltime, to be at home with my husband and be of help with him around our home, and to draw closer to and spend more time with our Heavenly Father. I determined with the time I spend in the morning alone with God that I'd include the poems I write to Him in my blogs. I thought I would mostly keep it of my poetry and sometimes vary it with other thoughts that cross my mind pertaining to the times we're living in. I do enjoy visiting various other blogsites to learn from and to comment here and there by uplifting and edifying comments, and hopefully connect with love and prayers for one another. I take Colossians 4:6 to heart which states "Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man." I also believe Proverbs 27:17 which states "Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend." We, as the body of Jesus Christ, need to stay close at heart in these uncertain times with love, faith and trust in Jesus Christ our Saviour, that He will see us through. β‘ View all posts by lilyofthevalley777

Becoming the oil and wine
Becoming the Oil and Wine blog was founded on March 19th, 2014 by Beverley Doreen Wright in direct obedience to God to teach, encourage and uplift His people.
In 2011, Beverley gave up all secular goals and desires to answer the call of God on her life. Her first project was to start this blog to share her journey to becoming the oil and wine.
God has called each of us to become the oil and wine. This is an advanced stage of maturity in God. The process to become these pure and refined products involve trials to help build and mold your character.
Becoming the oil and wine is an ongoing faith journey. But, during the process you will receive total protection from God because He has commanded the enemy to “harm not the oil and wine” (Revelation 6:6b NKJV)
As the Oil and Wine, you can be like the good Samaritan who poured in the oil and wine on the wounds of those who have been robbed and abused by the enemy.
Beverley’s second project was the released of her first book entitled Harm not the Oil and Wine, which you can purchase on Amazon.
Thank you for visiting and supporting this blog. Remain steadfast in your journey to become the Oil and Wine.

Beverley, this prayer is good for every day, thanks, yesterday was a rather rough day, but God got us through it. Stay close to Him, He is faithful.

I always start my days this way for I never know what the day will hold, so as I draw nigh to Him, I know He will draw nigh to me, and yes, so true what you said, He is faithful. Have a blessed day. π

So true. We need to begin our day with prayer. It doesn’t have to be long but as simple and eloquent as this one. Have a bless week in the Lord.
