Where Is Your Help?

1–2 minutes

Where is your help?

Does your help come from your spouse?

Is your help from your children?

Where is your help?

Can you receive help from friends?

Or will your job help you when you are feeling lonely and depress?

Yes, sometimes you may find help from one or more of the above. But, the help from fellow humans is limited and temporary.

Thanks be to God, the help from the Lord is merciful, compassionate, permanent and everlasting.

There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides the heavens to help you, and in His excellency on the clouds. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust out the enemy from before you, and will say, ‘Destroy!’ (Deuteronomy 33:26-27)

Glory to God!

  3. This reminds me of Psalm 121-
I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

Yes, God is the only One who knows my thoughts and understands my heart…. He meets me every morning, He’s with through the day, He molds me as His vessel, not in mine, but in His way.
