Being confident in the Faithfulness and trustworthiness of Gods Word, I walk by faith not by sight, for Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God because Faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things unseen. So we do not give ground, we take ground. The Promise Land is in sight. Keep your spiritual eyes open and believe! 🙂

    1. We walk by faith and not by sight. We have to believe in the promises of God and trust in His faithfulness. Thank you, Susan, for confirming the word from God

  2. I think of all the great faith of some of these people, and I wonder if I too will get stuck and not be able to inherit the promised land. However, one of my favorite verses is about faith the size of a mustard seed. Sometimes when I see giants, I am quite scared out of my mind. Then I remind myself that I don’t need huge faith, but very small, small, tiny faith is all that God requires.

    1. You are perfectly right. Only a small grain of mustard seed that God provides us with that we need. God will take care of the giants. You will not be stuck in the wilderness because you believe in God. Amen

  3. Thank you so much for sharing this important message! I think we can all relate to that feeling of being stuck in the wilderness at some point (or even several points) in our life. My pastor recently pointed out something I hadn’t given much thought – Moses spent ANOTHER 40 years in the wilderness prior to these 40, when he fled the palace and a life of royalty in Egypt to live as a lowly shepherd. I feel as if similar lessons were learned, but it was also a time of preparation. God knew what awaited Moses in the future, and used this time to prepare him for it! I wrote a bit about it at https://debtakesherlifeback.com/stuck-in-the-desert/ if you’re interested. ❤

    1. We certainly cannot ignore the wilderness period because you have to go through it to fulfill your calling. Thank you for reading and sharing and I will check out your post.
