God is love! How can I prove His love to me?
God lay down His life for you and me.
Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. (John 15:13)
The Lord poured out His love in our heart.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. (Romans 5:5)
Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
The Lord is preparing great things including mansions in heaven for us.
But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)
The mercy of the Lord is everlasting to us.
But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us. (Ephesians 2:4)
God gave us love, power, and sound mind to remove the spirit of fear from our lives.
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and oflove and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)
The commandments of God are not burdensome.
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome. (1 John 5:3)
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
Finally, brethren, farewell. Become complete. Be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. (2 Corinthians 13:11)
