Do Not Forget The Word Of The Lord

When the Butler was called back to his post, Joseph told the Butler to remember him when he returned to the palace.

The Butler promptly forgot about the lad when he returned to his former glory.

Then he restored the chief butler to his butlership again, and he placed the cup in Pharaoh’s hand. But he hanged the chief baker, as Joseph had interpreted to them. Yet the chief butler did not remember Joseph but forgot him. (Genesis 40:21-23)

My son, do not forget my law, but let your heart keep my commands; for length of days and long life and peace, they will add to you. (Proverbs 3:1-2)

Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth. (Proverbs 4:5)
