The short Sabbatical is over.
I want to thank you for your patience over the past few weeks as I refreshed my blog page. I also want to thank my daughter for making this possible.
You’ll see many changes to Becoming the Oil and Wine. I want to introduce some of these changes to you.
First and foremost, I have a new set of logos.
Becoming the Oil and Wine Logos
Below is the official logo of the Oil and Wine.
I also have logo variants as well. For the blog, I will be using the Becoming the Oil and Wine logo variants below.


I’ll also have a new profile logo and favicon. These are some of the variants below.





The Becoming the Oil and Wine icon combines the grapevine and the olive branch, both encircling the cross, which represents Christ.
The logos and icons were created by my daughter.
New Categories
Part of my revamp is new categories and category pages for easier navigation.
The main categories include:
- The Living Word: Includes theology, encouragement, prophecy, and devotionals
- Christian Living: Includes topics about Christian issues, leadership, Biblical worldview, and health and healing
- Family & Home: Deals with the family, men, women, teens, parenting, children, and relationships
- Prayers & Poems: All prayers, poems, and quotes
Other special categories include:
- The Newsletter: What’s happening in the world
- Blogging & Content: All blog awards and writing tips
- Fun Fridays: Every Friday, I post fun and light-hearted content
