The Spirit Of Truth
Roofless houses, flooded rooms, darkness, rubble, trash, homes and communities in chaos!
This was the reality in the BVI in 2017 after Hurricane Irma and Maria tore through the islands.
When you are facing difficulties and trials, it is hard to visualize yourself as a child of the King.
It is even more difficult to think positively when you are in a stressful situation.
But, God does not want us to focus on the natural. He wants us to see His provision in the realm of the spirit.
The Lord knows it is hard for human flesh to think spiritually so He gave us His Holy Spirit to live in our hearts to direct and guide us.
βI still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you. (John 16:12-15 NKJV)
How does the Holy Spirit help us in difficult times?
The Holy Spirit will restore our joy in times of afflictions (Psalms 51:11).
The Holy Spirit will strengthen and keep us during trials (Mark 13:11).
The Holy Spirit will revive our spirits (Isaiah 57:15)
The Holy Spirit will give us wisdom to make good decisions during trying times (Daniel 4; 5:11).
The Holy Spirit will deliver us from temptations (Luke 4).
“For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.β (Luke 12:12 NKJV)
In the hour of distress, the Lord will teach us what to say or do.
During times of trials, the Holy Spirit will remind us of all the good things that the Lord has done for us (John 14:26).
If He has done it before He will do it again.
The Holy Spirit will give us boldness to speak the Word over our lives and others (Acts 4:31).
Β Share with us how the Holy Spirit has helped you during trying times.
Have a blessed week in the Lord.
Be Watchful!
We are living in serious times and we need to know the provision that God has made for us to prepare for His return.

Beverley, thank you for this. Itβs timely for me. I am saving your post so I can read it again and meditate on the verses. I am thankful for the Holy Spirit helping me to remember He is with me always. Knowing that has made such a difference for me, especially over the last couple of years. Have a blessed week, my friend. β€οΈ
