The Lord’s Purpose Will Prevail

What are your plans for the future?

Are you planning to get married?

Are you planning to purchase a car? Or maybe you are planning to buy a new house.

Maybe you are thinking of going to university for higher studies.

We all have plans!

Sometimes these plans will work out while other times something unexpected happens and your plans are unaccomplished.

Proverbs 15:22 states that without counsel, plans go awry, but they are established by proper counseling.

Planning for the future is vital. You have to do what is necessary to prepare for a better life for yourself and your children.

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty (Proverbs 21:5 NKJV)

Thus we must plan and invest in our health and finances to prosper.

However, we must not forget to take our plans to the great Counselor – our Mighty God so that He will lead us on the right path.

We want to ensure that our plans are in alignment with God’s plan for us. We do not have to fear God’s plan because His plans for us are good and not for disaster.

They are plans to give you a future and a hope. The Lord further states that when we earnestly seek Him we will find Him (Jeremiah 29:11-14).

  1. We can make plans and even achieve goals but the Lord directs our paths. Often we do not expect certain things happening. There are natural disasters, health challenges,&nd hard times. Although the enemy of our soul may mean it for evil, God will turn it for good. We may join Jesus in his suffering and become more Christlike. Very thought provoking post!
