Woman, do you know your identity? Do you know your Name?

A name defines who you are and prophesy your destiny.

God created man and named him, “Adam,” which means mankind or ruddy.

God clothed Adam with His glory and gave him a perfect home in the Garden of Eden.

God created the animals and brought them to Adam, who gave them their names and identites.

The animals were not suitable companions for Adam so God put Adam to sleep and removed one of his ribs and created a second human being.

God brought this person to Adam.

When Adam saw this beautiful creature he immediately recognized that she was part of him so he called her “woman” because she was bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh (Genesis 2:21-23).

Because the woman was created from man she was given equal power and authority that the man has.

Later, Adam renamed her “Eve” because she was the mother of all living humanity (Genesis 2:20).

She would not only give birth to the entire world, but she was destined to bring forth the tree of life which would return everlasting life to humanity.

Woman!

Woman! You are created with power and authority!

Woman! You originated from man, and you reproduced man.

Woman! You are Eve, the giver of life.

Woman! You are bone of his bones and flesh of his flesh. You are his strength and covering.

Woman! Your seed bruised the serpent’s head and will terminate its life.

Woman, your seed produced the Son of God who saved humanity from sin.

Woman, because of you, the man received redemption and grace.

Mankind has hope because of you.

You are Woman!
