Praying For The Church

The Church is the body of Christ and as such we need to work together in harmony to keep the body functioning healthy.

If the members of the body are in disagreement and antagonistic towards each other then the body will be sick and eventually die.

What does it profit a Christian to pretend to be holy and then lose his soul?

Prayer

Lord, we commit every person who is on this platform into your hands.

We thank you for their sacrifice and commitment to be united together in prayer. We pray that their labor of love will be rewarded.

We pray that you will meet their needs and the desires of their hearts.

We pray for the strength and commitment of the entire Church family.

We pray that our words and actions in whatever we say or do will reflect your glory so that we will not be ashamed and the enemy will not get the opportunity to triumph over us.

Teach us, Lord, to hide your Word in our hearts so that we will not sin against you. Help us to be obedient to your Word.

Lord, bind us together as one even as you pray that we will be one as you and the Father are one.

We commit our pastors and their families before you. Continue to strengthen them to do the good work that you have called them to do.

Anoint them afresh with wisdom and revelation to lead your people as they follow after you.

We pray for all the ministers and leaders of the Church. Strengthen and protect them.

Lord, we pray that no evil will come near their dwelling places and you will keep them from all arms and danger.

In closing, I declare the blessings of Psalms 23 over our lives and family.

“The Lord is my shepherd;

I shall not want.

2 He makes me to lie down in [b]green pastures;

He leads me beside the [c]still waters.

3 He restores my soul;

He leads me in the paths of righteousness

For His name’s sake.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,

I will fear no evil;

For You are with me;

Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

You anoint my head with oil;

My cup runs over.

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me

All the days of my life;

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

In the mighty name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen!
