Focus On The Light

The light of the world is the Lord Jesus Christ.

Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)

In the beginning, the Lord Jesus Christ was the spoken Word and the light.

And God said, “Let there be light.” and there was light (Genesis 1:3)

The light of the Lord Jesus Christ removed the darkness of evil from the presence of God so that He could create the physical earth.

This same light can remove the darkness from your life so that you can see the blessings that God has in store for you.

For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. (Psalms 18:28)

Benefits of the Light

The light will direct your path and you will not fear when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? (Psalms 27:1)

The Bible implores us to walk in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness (Ephesians 5:11)

The light will bring righteousness and integrity to your life.

as for me

The Light of the Lord Jesus Christ will uphold you with integrity and uprightness (Psalms 41:10-13).

The light will lead you to the truth among the darkness of deception in this world.

Spend quality time in the Word of God because it is a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path (Psalms 119:105).

Your path will thus become a shining light to illuminate the way for those who walk in darkness (Proverbs 4:18).

Therefore, “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.” (Proverbs 60:1-3)

Look towards the sunshine and focus on the brilliant light of the Son of God. Behind every cloud, the Sun continues to shine.

In the midst of your trouble the Lord still shines brilliantly, just wait for the cloud to pass.
