Sodom and Gomorrah was a notoriously wicked nation, and the Lord decided to destroy it.

Abraham interceded on behalf of the nation in case there were ten righteous people in it. But God could not find anyone except Lot and his family.
So the angels told Lot to take his wife and family and escape to the mountains. They were warned not to look behind them under any circumstances.
So it came to pass when they had brought them outside, that he said, “Escape for your life! Do not look behind you nor stay anywhere in the plain. Escape to the mountains, lest you be destroyed.” (Genesis 19:17 NKJV)
There are times in your life when things will become stagnant, and it appeared as if you are stuck or wandering around in circles.
It could be an abusive relationship or it could be in a dead-end job or the wrong associations.
Whatever the situation, the Lord is saying to you, right now, to get up, and escape for your life.
Do not look behind at the past life of defeat and failures.

Run for your life!
Escape to the mountains to a higher place in God where He will rescue you and keep you safe.
I pray that God will give you the strength to escape to a higher place in Him. Amen!

Beverley has been serving the Lord since she was a child. At an early age, she recognized that God had a special plan for her life, but it was not until in her adulthood that she surrendered her total life to God and accepted the mandate that God placed on her life. The Lord called her into His Kingdom to be an encourager, intercessor, teacher, scribe, priest, and to proclaim the Word of God.
Since then, Beverly has established a blog to teach us to become the oil and wine. The oil and wine are purified and mature products, which is the advanced level that the Lord expected of us.
In 2017, Beverley published her first book, Harm Not The Oil And Wine. In it, she described her trials and how God helped her to overcome them, and to live more victoriously. The book also exposed the enemy of our souls with detailed information about his past defeats and future extinction.
Wright spents most of her time studying the Bible to know the truth of God’s Word. She believes that only God’s truth can expose the deception of the enemy, and uproot and tear down spiritual strongholds.
You can learn more about Beverley’s life and testimony on her website becomingtheoilandwine.com.
You can also find her on Facebook and Google+ under the name of her blog, and on Twitter as @Theoilandwine.

Hi There Beverly….I used to wonder why Lots wife became a pillar of salt….well a pillar is a thing of strength and salt preserves (will keep us in our old state)….when a person in their heart looks back at their life before coming to CHRIST, instead of looking forward in the NEW there is always the danger they will be preserved in that old life thinking their own strength can do the job. That old life is only sin and death. We are not meant to look back. Our own strength is gone. It is the HOLY SPIRIT on which we now rely for everything. HE keeps us and is our comforter. In CHRIST ALONE TRULY!

Stagnation is not pleasant place to be and I needed to hear this word

Thank you, Evidence. Stagnation is certainly not a good place to be but the sad truth is that some people are not aware that they are stagnant. They are just existing and not living their full potential. Bless you.

Oooh yes thats why Paul would pray this prayer for the church in Ephesians because it’s easy not understand what’s available for us as believers
Ephesians 1:15-20
[15]Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,
[16]do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers:
[17]that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him,
[18]the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,
[19]and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power
[20]which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,

That is my favorite prayer in the Bible. When I was going through marital problems and I needed to be closer to God, I prayed that prayer every night until I was delivered and my eyes were opened to the revelations of God. Thank so much for reminding me of this scripture. It is indeed a powerful prayer.

Oooh it is powerful even when we read the bible there are hidden secretes of victory in those verses and these can only be revealed when God gives us the spirit of wisdom and revelation.

The young people these days do not want to listen to any advise from anyone especially if you had a failed marriage. I tried counseling two different young people before they got married but they did not listen. They claim that their love was strong and what happen to me will not happen to them. They did not realize that the enemy does not change his tricks and he used the same tricks on them. Consequently, their marriages lasted a very short time.

That’s a sad story but at least God will say welldone faithful servant you played your part.
Their blood is not on your head.
These days if I have an instruction from God I just communicate .
Maybe one out hundred maybe saved by that obedience

I plan to write a book exclusively geared for young singles who are contemplating marriage. I started it but I am trying to finish another one that I am working on.

Aaah that’s great at least you have broken the ground on writing so this won’t be hard nut to crack.
Marriage is under attack so we need more resources in that area

Indeed we do. Satan targets family and marriage especially the male seed. We need to step up as Christians.
