Empowering With The Mind Of Christ

1–2 minutes

The mind is the part of the brain that reasons, thinks, feels, perceives, and judges.

A thought whether good or bad is usually perceived in the mind before it is acted on. Hence it is possible to sin in your thoughts.

The Bible implores us as believers to be like-minded and be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment (1 Corinthians 1:10).

The only way we can all have the same mind is to have the mind of Christ.

The mind of Christ is humble and obedient as noted in His willingness to leave His glorious home in heaven to make His abode on sinful earth.

While upon earth He forsook all earthly riches and worldly pleasures to serve humanity like a bondservant.

Then, He obediently died on the cross to pay the penalty for the sins of humanity.

he humbled himself

This is the mind of love!

May the Lord help us to be kind and loving towards each other. May we learn to capture our thoughts to the obedience of Christ and may we learn to be truthful in a world filled with deception.

Look for the good in every situation and seek peace with all persons.

The Lord takes pleasure to dwell among those who are humble with a repentant heart.

It is my prayer that the Lord will empower us with the mind of Christ so we will be united as one.

Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1 Peter 5: 5-7)

  1. It is so important for our thoughts to come under the authority of Christ. We must operate in the mind of Christ. Wrong thoughts can take us down the wrong path away from God’s will. Thanks my friend for this encouragement to be aware of our thoughts. ❤️
