Happy New Year – 2022

Last year was a challenging time for all of us and it is possible that the New Year may also be a tough one.

But with God by our side we can triumph over every struggle.

Therefore, here are seven Bible verses to keep you strengthened during the NEW YEAR.

N – NEW
You are a NEW person in Christ.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV)

E- ENTER

Always ENTER the presence of the Lord with thanksgiving and praise.

Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name. (Psalms 100:4)

W -WALK

If you WALK with the Lord He will WALK with you.

‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. (Leviticus 26:3,12 NKJV)

Y-YES

The promises of God is YES and AMEN.

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. (2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV)

E – EFFECTUAL

Be EFFECTUAL and fervent in your prayer life.

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:16)

A-ABIDE

ABIDE under the shadow of the ALMIGHTY.

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalms 91:1 NKJV)

R-READY

The Lord is always READY to forgive.

For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You. (Psalm 86:5 NKJV)

Be READY at all times

Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. (Matthew 24:44)

May the New Year also brings you joy and contentment.

An optimist stays up until midnight to see the New Year in.

A pessimist stays up to make sure the old year leaves.

Why should you stand on just your left foot during the New Year’s Eve countdown?
