  2. For me, building ongoing relationships with fellow bloggers has proved to one of the most positive aspects of blogging. In addition to that, I hope people will stumble upon a post that helps them from time to time. Perhaps he Holy Spirit will direct them to something that’s relevant to them right now, in their current situation. I think many of us Christian write with the goal of helping and encouraging others (and perhaps even pointing them back to God, if they’re open to that. Not everyone is.) Bless you for the work you are doing here 🙂

    1. I agree with you. In my opinion this is the best way to grow your blog. The process might be slow but it is rewarding. Blogging is a ministry for Christian bloggers and every one has their own unique style of encouraging and teaching the Word. I really enjoy blogging. I just wish that I was able to blog full time. Thank you for your encouragements. Blessings.

  7. Really helpful post! I have noticed that the more one interacts with their followers the more likely it is that they will keep coming back to your blog. WordPress is a two way street and if you don’t interact with people who interact with you they will likely not be revisiting your blog.

  11. What a wise strategy, Beverly, to build your blog the way Jesus built his ministry! Thank you very much for sharing your insights. Thinking about that last point, if I am seeking to be compassionate and selfless even while blogging, perhaps I shouldn’t be concerned about the stats. Perhaps my selfless goal should be to let God use the blog as He sees fit.

    1. That is exactly the point. We need to stop worrying about the stats and allow God to give us the increase in due time. We have to appreciate the small things so that the Lord can promote us to bigger things. Thank you for sharing your insight. Sorry to be so late in my reply but life gets a bit hectic at times. God bless you.

  13. Wow; I really enjoyed every bit of your post. Very practical too.

I particularly loved this scripture analogy you used to encourage bloggers.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not (Galatians 6:9).

God bless you for the post Beverley.

  14. Another great post, Beverley. I love your idea of studying how Jesus got multitudes to follow him — and how the internet gives Christians the opportunity to spread God’s word throughout the world. I don’t have the calling that you have to blog God’s word, but I hope my blog reflects my faith. I believe you are called by God to use your platform to spread His word. God bless you. I value the friendship you and I have and I’m thankful the internet has made it possible.
