    1. Daily love is my choice as well. Tomorrow everyone forgets about valentine, but you will not forget the love of God because it is renewed every morning.

  4. Ahhh, February 14th…it’s Valentine’s Day again and the balloons and red roses are emptying shelves and pouring out through stores, chocolate candies are purchased and restaurants are booked weeks in advance so that people can find a way to express their love on “one” day of the year. It’s beautiful for those in a relationships, for those single it can be depressing.

It seems foolish to put so much emphasis to show love on one day when we show the person we love every day and not just wait for February 14th. While all this is great and I don’t have a problem with this day, we must not forget that God showed the most amazing example of love when He gave His only son to die on the cross for our sins. John 3:16 is so often quoted that we sometimes forget the intent of God’s heart. God loves us so much that He shows His love for us 365 times a year, not with roses or candies but with His gift of eternal life.

    1. The hype about Valentines day is all about the money. The merchants cash in on that day. I pray that the people of God will use wisdom and sound judgment and not drawn in by the snares of the world. As you said, many single people are depressed on that day. May God comfort them and lead them to His loving arms. Thank you, Kim for sharing. I deeply appreciate your support.
