Taking A Giant Leap Of Faith

Help me Pray!

My dear friends and fellow bloggers I am requesting your prayers regarding a giant step of faith that I need to take this year.

For by thee I have run through a troop: by my God have I leaped over a wall. (2 Samuel 22:30)

Over the past months, the Lord has impressed upon my heart to launch out into the deep and start a Youtube channel.

I know that this might not seem like a big deal to many people, but to me, it is. Why?

Primarily because I do not like public speaking and avoided it as much as possible.

Secondly, I have no formal training in theology and so I do not think that I am qualified to teach on the subject that God wants me to do.

The subject is centered around the book of Revelation and is focused on the significance of the oil and the wine.

I have made a bold step in writing and publishing a book entitled Harm Not The Oil And Wine, which dealt with this subject.

If you have already purchased a copy of this book I want to thank you with all my heart.

You are counted among the firstfruits and will be rewarded in due time.

If you have not purchased a copy, no problem, because I am currently revising and re-editing the book to put it in digital and possibly audio format to make it easily available to you.

The Youtube channel will primarily focus on the content of this book.

The enemy has placed a lot of doubts in my mind concerning this book.

The enemy has beaten me down and turned my household upside down as a result of this book.

In spite of it all, the Lord kept me.

The book itself has been a tremendous blessing to me.

I have read it many, many times and everytime that I read it I felt renewed and strengthened.

This is exactly how I want my readers to feel when they read this book.

I have received encouragements from the Lord through family, friends and you my cherished readers.

I have also indirectly received words of encouragment from guest speakers at my church.

The most recent Word from the Lord occured last weekend at a revival crusade.

The guest speaker was Sherma Maynard and her message to the congregation was in the form of a question.

What are you carrying?

Excerpt of the message

What is inside of you at this hour in 2020?

The speaker emphasized that God has given each of us a unique gift to carry out His function and according to Genesis 1:26 and Psalms 8:6, He gave us legal rights to operate and carry out this function on earth.

She further stated in her message that we all came into this world with our future inside of us.

God sent us to earth to function in the gift He placed inside of us (Ephesians 1:11).

Sometimes the enemy fights us by robbing us of our identity.

There is something within you that the earth needs.

Your gift is not because of your education. No one can learn a gift.

God created every person with a gift and sent you to deliver it to a broken world.

Therefore, the world will benefit from your gift.

Your gift is not to make you feel good. It is not to make you feel glorified.

Your gift is to help others. It is to make a difference to the world.

Your gift is for the world.

God chose you to carry out His plan (John 15:16).

When God needs something to be done on earth He finds someone to do it.

Don’t let anyone stop you from delivering what God has put inside of you.

Go ahead and deliver!

A man’s gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. (Proverbs 18:16)

What are you carrying?

The enemy will fight against you because of the gift you are carrying.

The devil cannot take your gift but he will try to hinder you in your gift.

When you trust God, He will work it out.

Joseph’s gift brought him out of prison. This is the gift that established Joseph in his destiny.

Your gift will make room for you. #Sherma Maynard.

I personally believe that this message was packaged and prepared for me and I am going to be obedient to the Lord.

I pray that this message will also help someone to make a leap of faith into what God is calling you to do.

Additiional confirmation came when I was recently going through some old papers and I found a prophetic Word from God to me.

It was written in 2013 before I started blogging and it stated quite clearly that God is calling me to teach over the airways.

At that time I thought it was the radio station, but now I realized it will begin with the Youtube channel.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for your prayers.

Thank you for your encouragements.

Feel free to leave a word of advice and any resources that will help me in setting up a Youtube channel.

Thank you, my kind friends.

  1. Glad you’re taking action and starting your channel. I’ve heard many successful YouTubers say Everything doesn’t have to be perfect to get started, just start. I know the Lord will lead you as you go. Praying you are very successful on this new venture in Christ.

    • Thank you Dawn. I was doing some research on how to start but I could not understand most of the technological things. I am going to have to get help from my son. Thanks for your encouragements and prayers.

      • He certainly knows, but as soon as I mentioned it, he sighed. They can be impatient also. It is just amazing when I think about it that just thirty years ago when I was his age I had none of those technology. They took it for granted and cannot understand why it is difficult for their parents to grasp it. Little do they know that their children will be doing the same thing to them.🙂

      • Lol! I always say to my daughter, “Wait until you have kids one day.” Yep! They’ll see how it is, no one is young forever and the world is ever changing. The things of today will be outdated in the near future. 😊

  2. That is awesome! I believe you can, through Christ’s strength!!! 👏🏼⚔️ He rarely calls us to do things that are easy. I have found with myself, it’s the tough stuff that gets me out of my comfort zone. The things that make me grow. 🙏🏼 I will be praying for you!

    • Thank you Renee, for your prayers and encouragement. Yes, God always use the challenging things to make us grow. If it was easy for me to do then I would not grow spiritually. When we are weak, the Lord is strong. This is what faith is all about. We have to exercise faith in everything that we do. God bless you and have a great day.

  3. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified… (Romans 8:30),
This is the scripture that came to mind for you, trust the Holy Spirit, go forth, claim the victory in Jesus’ name and we will be along to accompany you on your new journey. Amen.

  5. Prayed for you little sister. When God calls us to do something, there will be spiritual warfare but trust our Heavenly Father little sister and more forward. God will take care of results. Even if only a few people respond, it is a victory because they are people not reached before.

  8. My prayer is guaranteed my sister.

When God speaks there is only one right response, listen and obey.

Abraham acted on that word and his obedience became a sweet smelling aroma that touched the whole world: “In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice” (Genesis 22:18)

Listening to and acting on the Word from that still small voice has made a great difference in my life, and the lives of others as I acted on those promptings.

May the Lord surround you with his love and peace as you launch out in faith my sister. Blessings to you always

  10. This is so exciting, Beverley! I don’t know anything about setting up a channel on YouTube, but the Lord will provide you with the skills you need. He will not ask you to do something and then not give you the means to do it. I will keep you in my prayers as you prepare for this next chapter in your life.

Please pray for me. I had an accident and fractured my right tibia.

    • Hi Jan, I am sorry to hear about your accident. Heavenly Father, I pray that you will extend your mighty healing hands and touch Jan’s leg right now. Mend the broken bones and restore the tissues. We know that you are able to breathe life and restoration in her body because you are the balm of Gilead. Thank you for answering our prayers. In Jesus name, Amen. I will continue to keep you in prayers for a speedy recovery.
