Seven Thing To Do To Achieve An Excellent Life
Is it possible to be successful in everything that you do?
At the beginning of creation God gave man everything (power, authority and dominion) to live a fulfilling and excellent life on earth.
Although man lost everything to the serpent he is able to regain them through Jesus Christ.
The following are seven vital things that you can do through the Lord Jesus Christ to have a successful life on earth.
1. Giving
You can give of your time, substance and your encouraging words.
In Philippians 4, Paul encouraged the Church to help the brethren who labored in the ministry.
2. Rejoicing
Always rejoice in the Lord even in times of persecutions and trials.
3. Moderation (equitable, fair, gentle)
Your love, humility, kindness, gentleness and patience should be evident to everyone that you come in contact with.
You should be like Christ exhibiting all of His characteristics.
4. Thanksgiving
Paul emphasized that instead of worrying you should place all your cares in the hands of God through prayer, supplication and thanksgiving.
5. Peacefulness
Let the peace of God that passes all understanding reign in your heart and mind.
6. Purifying your thoughts and mind.
Think only on the good things – the things that are pure, true, trustworthy, virtuous and praise worthy.
7. Contentment
You will never get rid of the bad things in life, but you do not have to dwell on them.
It is best to be contented in whatever circumstances that you are in because the Lord is with you and He will grant you favor.
Joseph was sold into slavery and he found himself serving Pharaoh’s captain of the guard in Egypt.
Joseph adopted to this new and oppressive form of lifestyle and learned to be contented.
Thus, he was favored by God and whatever he did became prosperous.
Joseph’s master saw that the Lord was with him and he found grace in his master’s sight.
Unfortunately, trouble brewed and Joseph was innocently cast into prison.
Although Joseph was devastated, he chose not to remain in a depressive state, but trained his mind to think on the good and positive things in his situation.
One good thing that Joseph could rely on was that God was with him and this was enough for him to accept his situation and do the best he could.
Once more, Joseph found favor in the eyes of the prison keeper who put him in charge of the other prisoners.
Eventually, God orchestrated a chain of events that allowed Joseph to be taken out of prison and appointed governor of Egypt.
When you serve the Lord God with joyfullness and gladness of heart in everything, you will receive all the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 and none of the curses will affect you or your descendants.
Whatever difficulties that life throws at you, whatever problems that you encounter, when you know that God is with you then you can say with confidence.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Similar to Joseph, the Lord will never leave or forsake you and whatever you do, the Lord will make it prosper.
But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19)

I was also surprise as well when I heard the news. There were some earthquakes in Puerto Rico a few weeks ago. I do not know if these are warnings to the caribbean to prepare for a big one. I pray that is not the case.🙏
