Some people like to swear and curse.
Some people like to joke around and speak lies.
Others like to speak aloud about their fears.
But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words, thou shalt be condemned. (Matthew 12:36-37)
Every negative and idle word that you speak becomes a curse to hinder your blessings.
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “How long shall I bear with this evil congregation who complained against Me? I have heard the complaints which the children of Israel make against Me. Say to them, ‘As I live,’ says the Lord, ‘just as you have spoken in My hearing, so I will do to you. (Numbers 14:27-28)
The words of the Lord are alive and still effective.
Therefore,
Speak words of love and comfort.
Speak words of wisdom and knowledge.
Speak words of blessing.
Speak only good words to edify and uplift.
Speak only words of life in the presence of God and He will grant you the words that you speak.

Beverley has been serving the Lord since she was a child. At an early age, she recognized that God had a special plan for her life, but it was not until in her adulthood that she surrendered her total life to God and accepted the mandate that God placed on her life. The Lord called her into His Kingdom to be an encourager, intercessor, teacher, scribe, priest, and to proclaim the Word of God.
Since then, Beverly has established a blog to teach us to become the oil and wine. The oil and wine are purified and mature products, which is the advanced level that the Lord expected of us.
In 2017, Beverley published her first book, Harm Not The Oil And Wine. In it, she described her trials and how God helped her to overcome them, and to live more victoriously. The book also exposed the enemy of our souls with detailed information about his past defeats and future extinction.
Wright spents most of her time studying the Bible to know the truth of God’s Word. She believes that only God’s truth can expose the deception of the enemy, and uproot and tear down spiritual strongholds.
You can learn more about Beverley’s life and testimony on her website becomingtheoilandwine.com.
You can also find her on Facebook and Google+ under the name of her blog, and on Twitter as @Theoilandwine.

Absolutely! The more positive words that we speak aloud the better for us. Soemtimes negative thoughts will pop in your mind, but don’t speak them aloud. 🙂❤

Praise the Lord. It is a work in progress for all of us. When we try and make and effort even though we may fail sometimes God still honors us for our continuous effort. Enjoy your day.

Definitely! I always tell myself that of I don’t have anything good to say then don’t say it. I will not complement a person if I do not mean it. Thanks for sharing.

The word of God tells us that the tongue has power. We can use our tongue to speak life or death. Yet, the Bible says that the tongue is the most difficult thing to control. But through the help and power of the Holy Spirit we can have power and control over our tongue.

Percisely! It is only with the help of the Holy Spirit that we can control our tongue. We have to submit all our thoughts and imaginations to the obedience of Christ. Thank you for reading and sharing.

There is life and death in the power of the tongue. We must be sober and vigilant at all times. Especially with our words.

So true. After the bones break they can quickly heal but the effects from words can last a lifetime even from generation to generation. Thank you Warren for sharing.

Word is the sharpest weapon on earth. It can hurt someone’s feeling without you knowing of it.
