Three Reasons You Can Trust In God’s Mercy
The fact that you are alive on this earth is enough reason to trust in the mercy of God.
To further strengthen your trust, here are three additonal reasons.
1. The mercy of God is great in the heavens and the earth.
The heavens also declare the glory of God (Psalms 36:5; 119:64; Psalms 19)
The wonder of the universe and the natural beauty of the earth are all evidences of the mercy and glory of God.
2. The Lord is plentious in mercy and will hear when you call upon Him (Psalms 86:5,15).
3. The mercy of the Lord is everlasting (Psalms 100; 103; 118; 136).
Today’s prayer will praise God for His everlasting mercy towards us – day nine of our fourteen days of prayer.
The prayer is taken from Exodus 25:22; Psalms 13:5-6; 33: 18-22; 40.
Let us pray
Lord we pray that you will not withold your tender mercies from us, but you will meet us at the mercy seat of grace and commune with us.
Let your lovingkindness and truth preserve us.
Though the enemies sorround us we will not be afraid but trust in your mercy because it is everlasting.
Thank you, Lord, that your eyes are upon us who fear you and hope in your mercy.
Thank you for your saving grace and your mighty hands of deliverance.
Our hearts rejoice in you O’ mighty God because we trust in your holy name.
We will rejoice in your salvation. We will sing of your bountiful blessings to us.
You are marvellous and plentious in mercy and so we take pleasure in joining the psalmist in blessing your holy name.
I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
They looked unto Him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in Him. (Psalms 34:1-8)
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. (Psalms 52:8-9)
Thank you, Lord. I Jesus name. Amen and Amen!
I always see something new in your work.

Amen. If it wasn’t for God’s mercy I don’t know where I would be. So thankful for His mercy. Thanks Beverley. ❤️
