Waking up in a good mood ensures that you have a successful day.

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23)

The Lord’s mercy is renewed every morning.

You can tap into these fresh mercies when you greet and talk with God every morning as you awake.

Only God can command your morning and make your day flow smoothly.

Therefore, every morning endeavour to acknowledge the Lord as Father and Creator of your like.

Ensure that you show your appreciation to Him for waking you up to see a brand new day.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night, upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

 For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. (Psalms 92:1-4)

Be determined that you will be happy today and you will not allow anyone to disturb your mood.

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalms 118:24)

Always remember that according to the Word of the Lord, trials and sadness only endures for the night, but you will always have joy in the morning. (See Psalms 30:5).

So, tap into this guaranteed joy from the Lord.

Be contented with God’s daily provision for you.

Ensure that you ask the Lord for wisdom and understanding to make the right decisions and to follow His directions throughout the day.

And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed. (Numbers 9:21)

Declare that the weapons in the enemies’ hands and the plots in their heads will be cut off in the mighty name of Jesus.

And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him. (1 Samuel 5:4)

Ask the Lord to cover and protect you in His secret place under His wings.

Let us pray

Heavenly Father, I thank you for today because this is the day that you have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank you for the provisions that you have laid up in store for me today. I will be contented and satisfied with everything that you have given me.

Lord, help me to be sensitive to your directions for the day.

Give me your wisdom and understanding to make the right decisions throughout the day.

Lord, I want to follow you wherever you lead.

Lord, thank you for commanding my mornings since I was born and I ask that you continue to take control of my day from morning until night.

Lord, command the morning light to grab the earth and shake those who are evil out of their hiding places (Job 38:12-13)

Lord, I declared according to your word that no weapon formed against me today will prosper and every negative words that have spoken over my life I condemn in your name.

I declare that whatever plots the enemy has in store for me today will be exposed and destroyed.

Cover and protect me in your secret place throughout this day.

Continue to pray Psalms 5 over your life for a great day.

Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.
