Six Powerful Quotes That Will Make You A Better Person

Most of us want to be a better person.

It is difficult to do it on your own, but with the help of God and being obedient to His Word you can accomplish anything.

1. Whatever you sow in life you will reap.

Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.

You have plowed wickedness; You have reaped iniquity. You have eaten the fruit of lies, because you trusted in your own way, in the multitude of your mighty men. (Hosea 10:12-13)

2.  Judge not that you be not judge. Leave all judgments in the hands of God because He judge righteously.

Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. (Matthew 7:1-2)

 3.  Avoid foolish arguments.

But avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. And a servant of the Lord must not quarrel but be gentle to all, able to teach, patient. (2 Timothy 2:23-24)

4. Give love abundantly.

Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (Luke 6:38)

5. Be kind and compassionate to others.

Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32-32)

6. Live humbly before God and man.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. (James 4:10)

Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for“ God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. (1Peter 5:5-6)
