Four Lives Promised To You
The old idiom says, ‘the cat has nine lives.’ Is this true or false? I cannot say, but I know for certain that God promised you four lives.
Wherever, and in whomever, the Holy Spirit of Christ dwells there is life.
1. You will have spiritual life, which is kept alive by the Word of God.
It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63)
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:2)
2. Your body, though breathing, is considered dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. Hence the Spirit of God will quicken or give life to your mortal bodies (Romans 8:10-11).
Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.” “O Death, where is your sting? O Hades, where is your victory?” (1 Corinthians 15:51-55)
3. You will have abundant life while living here on earth.
The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10)
4. Our ultimate reward as believers in Christ is everlasting life.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. (John 5:24)
For Sheol cannot thank You, death cannot praise You; Those who go down to the pit cannot hope for Your truth. The living, the living man, he shall praise You, as I do this day; The father shall make known Your truth to the children. (Isaiah 38:17-18)

If you know that you are alive, give the Lord a praise.
Hallelujah! Thank you, Lord!
Our ultimate reward of eternal life with Jesus is what keeps me going 🙂
