Are you sure that God has given you a Word to declare to His people?

Whether you are positively certain or even if you are a little doubtful, you will need to set aside some time in serious fasting and prayer to receive both clarity and timing of the Word.

The timing is important and when God clears you, just obey.

Declare the Word and move on. Don’t become side tract by the sceptics or doubters.

In Paul’s letter to the Corinthians he stated that neither himself nor his fellow apostles were important because they were just ministers of the gospel of Christ.

They could only plant the seed and water it but God alone gives the increase. In other words God allow the plant to shoot from the soil, grow and bear fruits.

God’s fellow workers are the apostles, prophets, ministers, pastors and teachers. The field or soil is the people while the seed is the Word of God.

The apostle may plant a seed and the prophet or pastor waters it. It is possible that neither one may see the reward of their work but it does not mean that their work is in vain.

The Lord can harden the hearts of the people just as He did to Pharoah so that when He delivers with great signs and wonders only He alone receives the glory (Exodus 7:1-5).

Sometimes pastors become discouraged if no souls are saved after pouring out their heart in a passionate message.

While some prophets are like Jonah who after delivering a warning from God to the people they sat under a tree waiting to see the manifestation of their warning.

If you are expecting immediate results in your favor after releasing a Word from God then you are seeking the glory.

But, if you step aside and allow God to manifest His Word however He pleases then God alone will be glorified.

For instance, God did not allow Pharoah to release the children of Israel until after the tenth plague because He wanted to prove to the Egyptians that He was greater than all their idols.

God did not destroy the people of Nineveh in forty days because they humbled themselves and repented. God wanted to demonsatre to Nineveh that His mercy overrides His wrath.

Therefore, continue to plant and water the Word of God. Do not give up in spite of.

Continue to build on the foundation of Jesus Christ.

But, be careful how you build because the manner in which you build and the material that you use will determine your outcome.

If you build on the foundation with either gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay or straw, each of your work will become clear for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work of what sort it is.

If anyone work which he has build endure he will receive a reward. But, if anyone work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet through the fire. (1 Corinthians 3:5-15).

What a marvelous God we serve!

Now, you can see clearly that the work of God is not about you and me.

The work of the Lord will forever be about Him, for Him and all the glory belongs to Him.

Therefore, remain focus on God and what He has called you to do in His kingdom because in the end you will either be rewarded or saved, but only God will get the glory.
