The Power Of Boldness

After the feast of Christmas it is time to fast.

So, many Christians designated 21 days to prayer and fasting in January.

We are presently in the second week, and in one of our prayer meetings at church, I learned that boldness is part of God’s requirement for His children because God has not given us the spirit of fear.

Instead, the Lord has given us love, power, and a sound mind all wrapped in a package called the Holy Spirit.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

When you are baptised with the Holy Spirit you will receive:

The power of boldness

Wait for the promise!

Wait patiently without compromise!

Wait and be baptised with the power of His glorious majesty.

He is the spirit of truth and integrity.

He is your comfort and your guide.

Forever with you He will abide.

And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” (Galatians 4:6)

He is the spirit of freedom, which can only be received by adoption.

Now I can cry unto God, “Abba! Father!

I am your son, I am your daughter.”

No longer a servant but a child of the king.

Heirs to the vast wealth that He and His kingdom bring.

An inheritance that exceed all earthly treasure;

Where neither rust nor moth can gather.

It is a wealth of wisdom and power.

For you to receive in this hour.

When aĺl were united at the appointed time.

Christ rode into their midst like a rushing mighty wind.

Cloven tongues of fire fell and sat upon their head and they were filled with the holy spirit of God.

Suddenly, they boldly speak in languages unknown to the speakers,

But familiar to the listeners.

Every person hear the tongue of his birth.

It is the awsome works of God no doubt.

No, they were not crazy nor drunk with wine;

Just filled with the fullness of the vine.

Would you like to have this enlightening experience?

You can if you receive Christ in your life today.
