Find Your Secret Place

Last Sunday after church I drove to a small community in Tortola that was totally untouched by the ravages of hurricane Irma.

Most of the buildings both old and new remained intact.

What could have caused this miracle? I pondered.

Then I looked up saw the hills. They surround and overshadow the few houses and buildings. They nestled in their protective arms.

Then I remembered the Psalmist saying,

He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings, you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler. (Psalms 91:1-4)

Find your secret place in God.

We are living in serious times and we need to know the provision that God has made for us and how we can be prepared for the return of the Lord.
