In The Stillness of the Morning

But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. (Psalms 13:5)
In the stillness of the morning,
There’s a hush upon the day;
When you begin to read the Scriptures,
That will guide you through your day.
As you read within each chapter,
Verse by verse you’ll come to see;
His Word He longs to show you,
Of His Truth that sets you free.
God’s Glory is then revealed,
In each verse that you will read;
With His Love, He longs to show you,
Within your heart, He plants that seed.
You’ll read about Gods Mercies,
Which are new each and every morn;
With His Grace that’s added to it,
Abundant Joy will then be born.
So saturate your heart
with the Oil of Gods Word;
For out of your mouth will come
His Truth that you have heard.
For Faith will come by hearing,
And hearing by the Word of God;
And with the Gospel of His Peace,
Will your feet always be shod.
And Abraham got up early in the morning to the place where he stood before the LORD. (Genesis 19:27)
Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts. (Jeremiah 15:16)
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk. (Psalms 143:8)
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. (John 8:32)
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. (Ephesians 6:15)
