“Young people do not have any problems because they don’t have any responsibilities.”

Sometimes adults make this statement about the teenagers. But over the past few years, I have learned that this is far from the truth.

You will know the real issues affecting teens when you develop a close relationship with them and receive their trust.

In my personal encounter with a few teens, I realized that they have more stress and anxiety problems than adults.

In this age of cyber technology, the younger generation is more susceptible to all the evil that are found on the internet.

They are faced with cyberbullying, cyber addiction, pornography, internet scams, pedophiles and sexual predators. Many adults who do not use the internet will not have these problems.

Therefore, for the months of July and August, this blog will focus on the issues that are affecting the youths especially the teens.

We will be offering solutions to some of these problems. During these two months, some of the writers will be teenagers. We need to listen to the opinions of the teens, and writing is a great way for them to express themselves. If we cannot get our young people to speak to us, let us encourage them to write.

The Daily Thanksgiving Devotion will take the form of a daily prayer during the two months mentioned above. We will be rooting out generational curses and tearing down spiritual strongholds that have many young people under bondage.
