I think that it is only fitting that I end this Mother’s day celebration with a prayer for all women and mothers. My prayer is taken directly from the word of God and it is a prayer of praise and thanksgiving done by Mary and Hannah. I want you to pray this prayer every night before you go to bed in order to gain strength and walk in victory.

 My soul will magnify the Lord;

My horn is exalted in the Lord;

My mouth is enlarged over my enemies and

My spirit rejoiced in God my Savior.

For He has regarded the low estate of his handmaiden:

For, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

For He that is mighty have done great things to me;

And Holy is His name.

And His mercy is on them that fear Him

From generation to generation.

He has showed strength with his arm;

He has scattered the proud in the

Imagination of their hearts.

He has put down the mighty from their seats,

And exalted them of low degree.

He has filled the hungry with good things;

And the rich he has sent empty away.

There is none holy as the Lord:

For there is none beside Him:

Neither is there any rock like my God.

Talk no more so exceeding proudly;

Let not arrogance come out of your mouth:

For the Lord is a God of knowledge,

And by Him actions are weighed.

The bows of the mighty men are broken,

And they that stumbled are girded with strength.

They that were full have hired out themselves for bread;

And they that were hungry ceased;

So that the barren has born seven;

And she that has many children is waxed feeble.

The Lord kills, and makes alive:

He brings down to the grave, and He brings up.

The Lord makes poor and He makes rich:

He brings low, and he lifts up.

He raises the poor out of the dust,

And lifts up the beggar from the dunghill,

To set them among princes,

And to make them inherit the throne of glory

For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s,

And He has set the world upon them.

The Lord will keep the seats of His saints,

And the wicked shall be silent in darkness;

For by strength shall no man prevail.

The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken to pieces;

Out of heaven shall he thunder upon them:

The Lord shall judge the ends of the earth;

And he shall give strength unto is king,

And exalt the horn of His anointed.

He had helped His servant Israel,

In remembrance of His mercy;

And He spoke to our fathers,

To Abraham, and to his seed forever.

Blessed be the Lord God, the God of Israel,

Who only does wondrous things!

And blessed be his glorious name forever!

And let the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen.

May the God of heaven go before you as a consuming fire to destroy the giants in the land.
