The Lone star

Merry Christmas to all my readers and blogging friends.

I pray that the star of Christmas will shine brightly in your life and gives you peace and joy.

The Lone Star

One lone star stood out among the trillions and trillions of stars in the great expanse of space.

Its radiance lit the night sky and darkened the glow of all the others.

It was the star of Bethlehem that night so long ago to announce the birth of an exceptional child.

The star revealed His identity.

The star revealed His birthplace.

The star guided kings and prophets to His abode and commanded all to bow in His presence.

This star shone brightly in a darkened world but the eyes of sinful men were too blind to see its radiance.

So this star came down from heaven to earth to mingle among sinful men.

He left his heavenly glory to experience the joys and sorrows of humanity.

But, they despised and rejected Him.

He was scorned and ridiculed!

He was oppressed!

He was afflicted!

Until He became a man of sorrow and acquainted with grief.

The foxes have holes and the birds have their nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” (Matthew 8:20)

Despite the shame and disgrace, this lone star persevered because He knew it was an ordained plan for Him

to suffer pain and experience the hardships of life.

So He endured the agony of the cross.

He submitted to the sting of death.

All the burdens of sin were laid on Him.

All sicknesses and diseases were buried with Him.

And, on that remarkable third day, He rose triumphantly from the grave to become a brighter and more glorious star.

This star’s light is still protecting, guiding, and inviting you to partake in the feast He has prepared for you.

No longer will you be a wandering sheep.

No longer will you be an outcast.

But you will become kings and priests,

A royal priesthood,

A holy People,

A special person,

And a friend of God.

    • Thank you. All the best to you. Yes, I went to the beach ⛱ yesterday. I enjoyed the sun 🌞, sea 🌊 😎 and sand. I enjoyed eating the sea grapes 🍇 also. They were delicious 😋.

I am sending up special prayers for you that the Lord will bless you with a holiday in the tropics or a Caribbean cruise. I believe the sun and sea will be great for your health.
