Starting All Over Again

Not everyone has the ability to start over after experiencing a disaster.

After the 2017 major hurricanes in the BVI, quite a number of elderly people passed away because they were unable to cope with the severity of the storm’s aftermath.

You can receive the strength to start over when you trust in the Lord believing that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13).

Even though you may have lost all your finances and assets in a disaster you have not lost your soul and that is the essence of your prosperity.

You can be at peace knowing that you can cast all your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you.

You can have hope knowing that in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving you can let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6-7).

You can be confident in the mercy of God because His compassion never fails and it is renewed every morning (Lamentation 3:22-24).

The Lord is faithful to be with you during the rough times because He promised never to leave nor forsake you.

Therefore, receive the love of God in your heart which will drive out the fear and give you the power and sound mind to empower you to start over again.

Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. (Isaiah 43:18-19 NKJV)

Have you ever had a major disaster in your life? If yes, how did you cope?

Please share with us your testimony and have a prosperous day in the Lord.

Thank you for reading.

  1. This is a message we all need to be reminded of. In my darkest times I have simply sat silently in the Presence of God – a bit like Job – knowing that God is with me, and feels the pain I cannot put into words.

  2. Great word.
I have had my fair share even in business of failures God blessed with the ability to let go and not holding on to stuff like my whole depends on those things.
I always find a way by the guidance of the HolySpirit.
This is a powerful message ma’am!

  3. It was 12 years ago that God Gave My Husband and I Our Surprise Baby, just after our oldest had flown from the coop. We were not prepared to start all over again, but praise God…He knew what we needed to rejuvenate our family. Thanks Beverley💕

  4. Forty years ago I was at work when my oldest daughter (11) called to tell me “Mommy I think Daddy is dead.” She and her sister (6) came home to find my husband crushed underneath the car he had been working on. My first thought was “How am I going to make it raising two little girls alone?” Immediately that verse from Matthew 28 came to my mind where Jesus said “I am with you always.” I knew that somehow, someway He would be with us and we would survive. Today my two daughters are Christian women, mothers (one is a grandmother) and using their God-given talents one as an elementary school teacher and one as a pastor. Later, as I was able to go on God gave me another Christian husband and we will celebrate 38 years of marriage this July. When we know He is with us – we have the strength we need to go on.
