Six Benefits of Being A Christian Blogger

Christian bloggers have the unique opportunity to fulfill the great commission of Jesus Christ in Mark 16:15, which stated that we should go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.

We can remain in the comfort of our homes and spread the good news of the gospel of salvation all over the world.

As stated in one of my posts, this blog receives visitors from over 115 countries in the world.

Although spreading the gospel and the love of Christ is the most significant advantages of being a Christian Blogger, here are six other great benefits.

  1. Motivation to spend quality time studying the Word of God.

The Bible states that as believers in Christ we need to study to show ourselves approved unto God.

We cannot forget that a transformed mind is one that is renewed with the Word of God and being obedient to the Holy Spirit. Becoming the oil and wine is all about nonconformity to this world.

2. Daily encouragements

By encouraging others with the Word of God will also, in turn, uplifts your spirit. It is so important when you learn to encourage yourself in the Lord.

3. Connecting with other believers in Christ.

Blogging is an excellent avenue to meet Christians from all over the world to fellowship and encourage each other.

The COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the value of blogging when we were confined to our homes. There is no distance in the cyber world.

4. Sharing your testimony.

Sharing your life experience and testifying about the miraculous power of God in your life is tremendously beneficial to the Christian bloggers.

Your blog becomes the place where you can release your feelings in a healthy way.

5. Building your profession

If you are a Christian Author creating a blog is one of the best ways to share your books and to improve your writing skills.

As a motivational speaker or evangelist, blogging can help you to market yourself and acquire speaking engagements all over the world.

6. Boost a healthier lifestyle

Blogging teaches you commitment and patience.

You have a responsibility to deliver a post to your viewers at the specified time that they are expecting it and this requires commitment.

Your blog may not become an overnight sensation as soon as you begin, but with patience and hard work, you will reap a great reward if you faint not.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9)

I was feeling unsure about doing this but I am thankful I read your post and I feel motivated to not give up and work hard!

  6. I loooove this! As a Christian blogger, it can be hard at times to maintain consistently writing posts and whatnot, but this is such an encouragement that our work is for a much greater purpose.

  8. This post was incredibly thought provoking and after reading your call to action, I found myself writing a mini blog in your comments. I would say a benefit of including the faith in my blog is that is that I really enjoying doing it. I find that the more I seek God, the more I want to talk about Him. It has brought me joy to be able to include my faith on my blog since I never really used my blog to talk about God. I now see it as a way that God can use me and it feels like a blessing. It is a blessing to speak about God.
