How To Live Forever

Is it possible for you to live forever while on this earth?

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the spirit of the Lord bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever. (Isaiah 40:7-8)

The flesh will not last!

It is the Word of God within our hearts, the Word of God that we preach, the Word that we teach and share to bring comforts to each other that will last forever.

Our wealth, power, and fame will not last.

It is so sad when we hear of someone who is terminally ill or is cut off in the prime of their life.

They just fade away like a flower, they wither like grass.

But the Word of God in our lives will be the legacy that we left behind for others to see and emulate.

If we could only love the Lord! If we could really love His Word!

I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad. O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day. Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. (Psalms 119:96-98)

The Word of the Lord will make us wiser than the enemy.

It is because of the Word of God in our hearts that we will not fall into sin.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. (Psalms 119:11)

Ensuring that the Word of God remains in your heart (Psalms 119:11-169)

Refrain your feet from evil and do not walk in the counsel of the ungodly.

Hate vain thoughts and lying lips but love the law of the Lord.

Delight in the Word of the Lord amidst trouble and anguish.

Afflictions will teach you the statutes of the Lord.

Forsake not the precepts of the Lord despite being robbed and bruised by the proud and wicked one.

Consider the testimonies of the Lord when the enemy set traps against you.

At midnight I will rise to give thanks unto thee because of thy righteous judgments. (Psalms 119:62)

Value the Word of the Lord better than thousands of gold and silver.

Rejoice, meditate, and delight in the Word of the Lord.

Let the Word of God quicken you when you are in the dust and strengthen you when your soul is heavy.

When you are afflicted let the Word of God comforts you.

How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (Psalms 119:103)

Let the Word of God be a lamp unto your feet to light your path.

Incline your heart unto the testimonies of the Lord, and not to covetousness.

Turn away your eyes from beholding vanity, and be revitalized with the Word of God.

Be devoted to the Lord and establish yourself in His Word.

The Lord will order your steps in His Word and will not let iniquity have dominion over you.

The Lord will deliver you from the oppression of man so that you will keep His precepts.

The Lord will make His face to shine upon you and teach you His statutes.

Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. (Psalms 119:164-165)

I will never forget thy precepts: for with them, thou hast quickened me. (Psalms 119:93)

The manifestations of the Word of God within your life will live forever.

Do you want to live forever?
