Fix Her Crown Award

I have been graciously nominated by Janet of Janet’s Writing Blog for this lovely award. Janet is a professional writer who blogs about writing and book reviews.

I have learned a lot of writing skills from her blog. Please visit her website and enjoy!

The rules are simple:

Thank the person who nominated you and link to her blog.

Copy and paste these rules to your post and please include a link to the Fix Her Crown Award post: https://kimsdiytribe.com/fix-her-crown-award/.

Post three photos of just yourself and write a short caption beneath each about why you chose that photo.

Nominate seven women for the Fix Her Crown Award, women who lend a helping hand to the woman whose crown seems too heavy, who appreciate the sister who dares to be her own glorious self, who raise strong young women, who smile at the sister journeying alone and walk alongside her for a time, who stand with the sister whose crown has been knocked off her head time after time and women who shine as their own beautifully unique selves.

Three pictures of myself

Earlier days (1999) – My family.

My son and I at the 2020 Church of God of Prophecy District Convention.

I was at a food fair – Taste of Tortola.

Samples of two of the dishes that were featured at Taste of Tortola. All the local cuisine was showcased.

Me, relaxing at the beach. These were the days before coronavirus. I pray that those days will return.

I was having so much fun that I forgot I was to post only three pictures.

My Nominees

I am nominating the following bloggers because I think that they are powerful women of God who have endured the wilderness of trials, but came out victorious.

You deserve this crown. Wear it proudly.

  1. Dawn – Drawing Closer to Christ
  2. Efua – Grace over pain
  3. Temi – Christian Mommas
  4. Linda Lee
  5. Precious Deandra – Imago Dei
  6. Gail – Gail loves God
  7. Mrs. Holliman – God’s Love
  8. Kim – Beyond my limitations

Remember ladies, you are not under any obligation to respond and you can do so at your own leisure.

Congratulations and God bless you!

I enjoyed doing this award and I hope you will also.

  2. I loved your blog post Beverley! I’m glad you had fun with it. I enjoyed all your pictures, so thank you for posting more than three! Enjoy Palm Sunday tomorrow. Our pastor has held Sunday worship on Facebook Live for two weeks already. I thank God that the Internet can be used in this way. It’s not the same as worshipping together, but at least it helps to keep us connected until this pandemic passes. Stay safe.
