A Single Thread Of Hope
A single thread of hope is all you need to know that God is able to sustain you.
Don’t despise the difficult times. I know this is hard to do, but remind yourself that the hard times will develop your patience, which will lead to experience.
Your experience will build up your hope because you can reflect on God’s mercy and deliverance in the past.
If God came through for you before, then He will do it again.
Abraham who against all hope, but believed in hope.
It was against all hope because his wife was way past her childbearing age, but Abraham believed in the God of hope that he would be the father of a great nation.
The God of hope spoke, and Abraham listened and believed. (See Romans 4:18)
Our salvation is based on hope. Hope in God – our eternal Creator – that He is able to save us.
And, we believe in our hope of salvation by faith.
God has blessed us with the ability to have faith. Even if your faith is as small as a mustard seed, it is enough to move mountains.
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you are blessed with hope.
Even if it is just a single thread of hope, it is powerful to give you the strength to move forward.
Now our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts, and establish you in every good word and work. (2 Thessalonians 2:16-17)
Christ in you, the hope of glory!
