He Is A God Of Hope
In times of disasters and troubles, it is easy to lose hope and give up.
During these turbulent times you need all the support that you can get.
You do not need spectators or sympathizers. You need friends who will sit with you in the ashes of dispair.
While Job was going through severe persecution, three of his friends came to visit him to mourn with him and to comfort him.
Upon seeing thier friend deplorable condition they could not utter a word.
They tore their clothes, sprinkled dust upon their heads and wept sorely.
Then, they did something quite remarkale. Something that hardly any friebds would do.
So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great. (Job 3:13)
The number seven means mercy.
Job friends believed that in seven days the Lord will show mercy upon their friend Job.
As you read to the end of the book of Job you will find that God indeed had mercy upon Job and restored everything back to him twice as he had before.
Many people are going through some tough times. Some have lost their homes through natural disasters.
Some have been laid off from their jobs and their bills are piling up.
Some people have lost loved ones through tragic circumstances or otherwise.
Whatever the circumstances, my encouragement to you is, do not lose hope.
Lay all your troubles at the feet of God.
Know that the Lord is sitting with you in the ashes of despair not to mourn with you, but to pull you out, lift you up and set you back on your feet again.
Because you are broken hearted, God is close to you.
Because your spirit is crushed, the Lord will hear you and rescue you.
Therefore, keep hope alive because help is at your door.
Amen He is!!

You are so right God is near to us and can comfort us when we go through tough times. Love the bible verses you used. I also am encouraged by 1 Peter 5:7, where he tells us to throw all our anxieties on him because he cares for us.
