Seven Things That God Wants Us To Become

God wants us…

1. To be Holy

For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall, therefore, be holy, for I am holy. (Leviticus 11:45)

2. To be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might (Ephesians 6:9).

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. (Joshua 1:9)

3. To be steadfast and unmoveable.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15:58)

4. To be still and know that God is God (Psalms 46:10).

And He arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39)

5. To be fearless

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

6. To exercise authority over the enemy.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19)

7. To be like Christ.

Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus: That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:5-6)

  1. Positive and encouraging message, Beverley. A double witness for emphasis, that our Heavenly Father desires for His children to know how much were loved and protected by Him and to have our mind and spirit to be equipped for each day ahead of us by the Power and authority we have within us through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

…….keeping you and your son in prayer. ♡🙏

    • Amen. We have to be always alert to the plots of the enemy. Saturday the enemy attack my family with the spirit of fear, but thanks be to God who quickly remind us that He has not giving us a spirit of fear but love, power and a sound mind. My son is doing much better now. Thank God and thank you Susan for your continual prayers. Have a blessed week.
