Preparing To Ascend Up On The Mount Of God

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? (Psalms 24:3)

The Lord called Moses to come up to Him on top of the mountain alone, but He told the people to remain at the foot of the hill (Exodus 24).

The children of Israel were not worthy to ascend into hill of the Lord because they were stubborn and rebellious.

While Moses was attending the sheep for his father-in-law, he led the flock in the desert until he came to the mountain of God.

Moses did not know that he had entered a sacred place. When he saw a bush burning without being consumed he went over to inspect it.

Then a voice from the burning bush told him to stop, take of his shoes before entering because the place where he stood was holy ground.

To stand in the Holy place of God requires cleanliness and sanctification.

To ascend up on the mountain of God requires obedience, humility and faithfulness.

Would you like to ascend up on the hills of the Lord? Would you like to stand in God’s holy place?

You can enter and you can stand when you meet the requirements.

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. (Psalms 24:4-5)

  2. Exodus, the book of Moses is my favorite part in the bible.
    Years ago I saw the movie.
    After the lord rescue the Hebrews from Pharoah, they were disobedient that wander in the wilderness for 40 years before entering the promise land

  4. Sis! This bible verse stirred up prayers in my soul. I just love God so much. I was asked by my pastor to preach tomorrow and i will be speaking on the reality of hell. So yes, this is another post that ties in. Having been on wordpress for some days only for me to come here today and see God confirming the message He gave me in various forms.

    • Yes, it’s an awesome experience when you get an unction from the Holy Spirit and receive confirmations in many ways from Almighty God, that follow, and then follow through with action. I’m sure your message will be anointed by the Holy Spirit, and touch those hearts that were meant to be touched, and God will receive the glory and the increase. May the blessings of God abound in your life as you continue to plant seeds in others.
