Lord, Let Your Presence Be Visible In Our Lives

Begin your day by asking the Lord to be with you throughout the day to guide and protect.

He will!

But, you have to be sensitive to His presence. You also have to listen to His voice when He speaks to you from your heart.

It means that you cannot make any hasty decision during the course of the day. You have to allow God to make the choice for you.

You will know His decision when you have peace with the situation.

For God to adequately direct your path you will have to acknowledge Him in everything that you do or say (Proverbs 3:6)

On Mount Sinai, Moses refused to go anywhere unless the Lord go with him. This is the radical decision that you have to make.

Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord. And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children and the children’s children to the third and the fourth generation.”

So, Moses made haste and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshiped. Then he said, “If now I have found grace in Your sight, O Lord, let my Lord, I pray, go among us, even though we are a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us as Your inheritance.” (Exodus 34:5-9)

Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. For how then will it be known that Your people and I have found grace in Your sight, except You go with us? So, we shall be separate, your people and I, from all the people who are upon the face of the earth.”

So the Lord said to Moses, “I will also do this thing that you have spoken; for you have found grace in My sight, and I know you by name.” (Exodus 33:15-17)

Morning Prayer for God’s manifest presence in our lives.

Heavenly Father,

We blessed your holy name. We acknowledge that you are indeed merciful and gracious towards us because your mercy is everlasting. You are long-suffering and abundant in goodness and truth. Thank you, for forgiving and cleansing our sins. We believe and accept your words and declare them over our lives. Be with us throughout this day to guide and protect us. We will not move unless your presence is with us. Let your glory shines forth from our lives in everything that we do and say. In Jesus name. Amen!
