Words Of Life Or Death

The words that you speak can be a blessing or curse over your life.

Anything that comes out of your mouth has the potential to either harm you or protect you.

This is a principle that was established by God when He spoke the words: “Let there be light.”

Those words became living spirits that brought forth light.

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. (John 6:63)

Those first word spoken by God was the Lord Jesus Christ. He is the light of the world.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (John 1:1)

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12)

God incorporated this principle in us to enable us to prophesy good things over our lives.

Therefore, let us be cognizant of the words we speak in our every day lives.

Those who like to gossip are sowing seeds of discord and will reap confusion and division.

Liars sow seeds of rebellion and will reap curses over their lives.

But, when you speak positive words over your life as well as to others you will reap the blessings of your speech.

Speak life!
