The Great I AM, Creator of the universe, promised that He will always be with us even to the end of the world.

Here are ten additional promises that are incorporated in the name of the Lord.

1. Provision

Every evening and morning you will eat food because I AM the Lord your God – your provider (Exodus 16:12).

2. Compassion

When you cry unto me I will hear because I AM gracious. (Exodus 22:27)

The Lord is a God of justice.

3. Rest

Keep my Sabbath of rest because I AM the Lord who sanctifies you (Exodus 31:13)

4. Consecration

For I AM the Lord your God. You shall therefore consecrate yourselves, and you shall be holy; for I AM holy. (Leviticus 11:44)

5. Obedience

I AM the Lord! Therefore, keep my statues and judgment and live (Exodus 18:4-5)

6. Respect

You shall not profane the name of your God for I AM the Lord. (Leviticus 18:21)

6. Dedication

Do not turn to idols, nor make for yourselves molded gods: I AM the Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:4)

Neither should you follow after wizards and familiar spirits to be defiled by them because I AM the Lord your God (Leviticus 19:32).

7. Giving

Give to the poor and needy because I AM the Lord your God (Leviticus 19:10).

8. Love

You shall love your neighbor as yourselves because I AM the Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:18)

9. Fairness and impartiality

You shall treat strangers and foreigners who dwell among you as one born among you because I AM the Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:34)

10. Honesty

You shall have honest scales, honest weights, an honest ephah, and an honest hin: I AM the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. (Exodus 19:36)

Honor the I AM!

Because we serve the One and only God – I AM, and because He placed His Holy name within our persona, we need to walk worthy of His name.
