Are you ready for whatever situations life throws at you?

When I feel weak and helpless, I cried, “Lord give strength!”

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; for YAH, the Lord, is my strength and song; he also has become my salvation. (Isaiah 12:2)

When I am lonely, I turned to One who lives in my heart and He reassured me.

And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:20)

In the midst of a crisis when the problems seemed overwhelming, I remembered:

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling. (Psalms 46:1-3)

During the storms of life when the wind raged and the waves overflowed, I heard my Saviour said,

“Peace be still.” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. (Mark 4:39)

Fear is persistent. It takes on different forms such as phobia, panic attacks, shyness, and bashfulness. You may think that you overcome it, but it will sneak up on you unexpectedly. When it does, I prophesied to myself.

 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7)

They said that death is a surety, but when it comes it hits us like a runaway train. We are devastated! However, here is an anchor that you can hold on to.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. (Psalms 30:5)
