Rest and Refresh

The Lord created the heavens and the earth in six days, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.

The Lord wants you to enter into His rest so that you too can be refreshed and stress free.

When you enter into God’s rest….

You will be at peace even though the world around you is filled with trouble and confusion.

You will sleep in the midst of the storm.

You will walk with God in the fiery furnace and come out without smelling of smoke.

You will be safe in the lions’ den because God will shut the mouth of the lions.

You will walk on high mountain with feet like a deer.

You will not be forsaken, neither will your seed beg bread.

You will flourish like a palm tree (Psalms 92:12)

When you walk through the wilderness, you will not thirst because the Lord will make water flow from the rocks for you.

You shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit. (Jeremiah 17:8)

You will have length of days and long life.

You will be at peace and nothing will cause you to stumble.

Even your enemies will be at peace with you.

Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him; do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; do not fret – it only causes harm. (Psalms 37: 7-8)

“And in that day there shall be a Root of Jesse, Who shall stand as a banner to the people; For the Gentiles shall seek Him, and His resting place shall be glorious.” (Isaiah 11:10)

Thank you Lord, for giving us sweet rest!
