Monday blessing

As you begin your day, think about the love of God.

And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. (Ephesians 5:2)

And be determine in your heart to show love to everyone who crosses your path.

As you begin your day, meditate on the Word of God.

Therefore lay aside all filthiness and overflow of wickedness, and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls. But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (James 1:21-22)

Practice the Word and let it guide you.

As you begin your day, endeavor in your heart that your speech will always be seasoned with salt.

Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. (Ephesians 4:29)

Determine in your heart that if your words cannot encourage or bless others you will not speak them.

As you go through your day, consciously ensure that everything that you say and do will glorify God.

“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)

At the end of the day when you retire to bed, you will be at peace and you will have sweet rest.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. (Psalm 16:9)
He shall enter into peace; they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness. (Isaiah 57:2)
