Be Thankful

  1. Being grateful for what we have is at times difficult in this time of consumerism. iPads, Flatscreen TV, watches that coach people. It’s madness. I was raised in an impoverished household, meaning necessities were scarce. Food, appropriate school clothing, money for school trips, money for scholastic books, crayons; rarely present. I have changed my faith through education and faith. Faith that if I continued to educate myself, my future children would have no idea what impoverished is. Now I worry my daughter will have little idea what grateful is. God Bless the day and may your words flourish in the minds of all who read them.
