  1. I know this all too well. It is a bittersweet realization. We are all on our own path of the Lord’s choosing. God brings people onto our path to water us or be watered by us, (Proverbs 11:25) along that path are struggles and trials. He wants us to learn from them and teach others of them. We have His Word that He will instruct us and teach us in the way which we shall go: He will guide us with His eye. (Psalms 32:8.) We all have a destiny that we will fulfill. We either embrace it and follow God or we are in rebellion. We must choose, and when we do, we may find ourselves alone. But we are not to fear, because ultimately we are never alone, for God is with us, and Jesus said He will never leave us nor forsake us.
When I am sad or feeling alone, I recall scriptures I have memorized such as Psalms 23.- God reminds us that He makes us to lie down in green pastures, He leads us besides the still waters. He restores our soul. Even when we walk through the Valley of the shadow of death, we are not to fear because even there He is with us. Even in Isaiah 41:10, He reminds us “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness”.

What an awesome God we serve! 🙂

  2. Awesome indeed! I receive those encouraging words. Many times when I looked at my low stats I feel discouraged thinking that maybe my work is in vain but those verses really strengthen me to continue. I appreciate it.
