Your Strength Begins on your Knees.
As the newborn infants receive the love and nutritious milk they need they will thrive. They will begin to roll and crawl on their tummy. Then they will raise up on their knees and creep until their legs are strong enough to stand on.
The knees are a special place for us to master. It signifies humility, reverence and worship. It is your prayer position- your position of warfare.
Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, ‘be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; he will come and save you. (Isaiah 35:3-4)
Therefore God also has highly exalted him and given the name which is above every name, that the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-10)
